PRAYER MINISTRY
"Devote yourselves
to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving." |
Colossians 4:2 |
Check out the Weekly Online Prayer Concerns and Joys available now on our Members Only Prayer Concerns page and also on the bulletin board in the hall near the Library where prayer concerns and letters of gratitude from SPC members are regularly posted each week.
For prayer requests contact Ann Watson (379-3507) or the church office (794-5311).
SUDDEN NEED FOR IMMEDIATE PRAYER in the wake of acute illness, an accident, and/or other pressing concerns? Call our SPC Prayer Chain Captain Martha Gibby (614-6511), or Co-Captain, Scottie Woody (794-4425) to instantly activate the Prayer Chain.
Recognizing the importance of sending notes of encouragement to friends and family who are away from home, the Congregational Care Committee has been compiling names and addresses of military personnel and college students. These addresses are also available on the Congregational Care Bulletin Board in the hallway near the Library.
At http://salisburypc.org/membersonly/prayer.html, our "Weekly Prayer Concerns are now available online. If you have not yet submitted the information for your SPC Household MO email account you'll find the signup information in your August Communicator and also on our FLASH NEWS page.
Although this means that the emailed Prayer Concerns and Joys will no longer be sent to those who had signed up to receive them, the print copies, as always, remain available in the Narthex and in all the Sunday School Classes.
Certain regular online Prayer Concern listings, such as the date, time, and place of funeral and/or memorial services for our loved ones, will also continue to be included in the Sunday bulletin.
NOTE: A REVISED LIST of Military addresses is now available in the Narthex.
To send personally written email messages of support to those in all branches of the military, you may use this email address:

If you need an address
to send a note of encouragement,
current and back copies of the Weekly Prayer Lists
are kept in the Library.
