Mark your calendars!  The fifth annual "Sundaes on Saturday" Concert will be given by Jubilation, Senior Adult Choir and the Salisbury Ringers on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 7 PM in the SPC sanctuary.  The concert is our way of giving back to the community.  Admission is free and all are treated to ice cream sundaes, provided by Friendly Family Restaurant, after the concert.  Come join us for this wonderful evening of sacred, secular, patriotic and show tune music.  Over 400 attended last year!  Fun for all ages.

JUBILATION, Senior Adult Community choir for adults age 55 and older, begins its ninth season as an outreach program of the Music Ministry of Salisbury Presbyterian Church.  The sixty-five members represent twenty-three different churches and nine denominations.  Founded September 2001, the choir meets weekly, from September through May, to sing music sacred, secular and patriotic.  Its mission is to spread fellowship and good will through music.

As an outreach program for SPC, Jubilation has sung for over sixty area clubs, assisted living facilities, senior groups and churches in Richmond and has been a featured performer for the Second Sunday South of the James Concert Series, the 200th birthday celebration of Providence United Methodist Church and the St. Matthias Episcopal Fine Arts Series.  Over 400 attended the fourth annual "Sundaes on Saturday" Concert held here at SPC, with the Salisbury Ringers, in March.

Jubilation is ever grateful to the SPC Family for its support.

REHEARSALS

Regular rehearsals are held in the sanctuary on Tuesdays from 10:00-Noon unless otherwise indicated.  Should a change be made, you will be notified.  If you are going to be absent from a rehearsal, please notify Attendance Rep. Mary Ann Eads (272-3673) or Christine Smith (379-0574), as you will be missed.
