*Note: While the Visitation and Transportation Teams were organized primarily to benefit church members, they are willing to serve anyone who has such a need. Contact the above team leaders for their services or to help in these important service projects.

- Facility Care* - The Facilities Team serves as a resource for the Deacons Building and Grounds Committee in identifying the need for facility improvement and maintenance, and in helping perform such tasks. They are currently working on two programs: inspecting and replacing light bulbs (coordinated by Chuck Hayward), and improving the window treatment in the senior ministor's office (coordinated by Basil Snider). Headed by Wilson Garnett, this team includes Basil Snider, Chuck Hayward, Jack Barnes, Tom Ray, John Waymack and Hal Stork.

- Chalkley Elementary - This school is 75% Afro-American, has a large percentage of one parent families, needs male role models and facilities improvements. John Barrie built a prototype bookshelf and the principal loved it, so this team is now in the process of building and installing them in all 52 school classrooms! At the recent orientation session the principal introduced the Chalkley Team to the entire faculty as important retired businessmen from SPC. All school personnel have been very enthusiastic. Come join in the fun with the Chalkley crew: John Barrie, Jack Barnes, Ed Burtner, Hal Storck, Ken Braun, and team leader Larry Morrow.
- Beaumont Correctional Home - Bob Lauchner and team had explored working with the faculty in this home, but the project is currently on hold due to the change in administration.
- Bon Air Correctional Center - Ray Richeson is currently working with this center to determine how we may help. He reports that they are very eager to have our services.
