NOTES OF APPRECIATION

Dear Salisbury Friends,

Thank you so much for your support with prayers, cards and “meals on wheels” upon the passing of my dad, Pat Bernick.  We feel so fortunate to be a part of such a loving church family!

God bless you,

Barb Peyronnet’s Family

Dear Friends of SPC,

Thank you very much for the delicious meal and beautiful flowers.  Whitt and I enjoyed them so much and surely appreciate your efforts and kindness.  Thanks also for the many cards.  It all helps.  May God Bless you.

Sincerely,

Whitt and Hilliard Powers

Dear SPC Friends,

I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and lovely cards upon the death of my sister, Jean Brewster.

Much Love,

Norma Moss & Family

Dear Prayer Chain,

Prayer is what I needed, prayer is what you gave me.  Thanks for all of your prayers.  I am still here and recovering well.  The doctors all say, I should be dead, but God says otherwise.  God hears your prayers so please don’t stop them.

Gratefully,

Gloria Lacy

Dear Friends at SPC,

Thank you for all of your cards, prayers, flowers and visits.  You have been such a comfort to me.

Sincerely,

Shirley Wheeler

Dear Friends,

Both of us want to express our appreciation for the avalanche of cards, the visits to the hospital and rehab center, the meals provided through loaves and fishes, the many prayers for Bill’s recovery and for Billye as she had to postpone her surgery.  We especially thank the first and third grade Sunday School classes for the cards they made and sent.  We felt the power and presence of Christian love through these past weeks that has been reassuring and uplifting. Bill is making good progress with the end in sight and Billye set a date for her surgery. We especially appreciate Larry’s able assistance and support that demonstrates sincere and loving pastoral care.  Our love goes to each of you.

OUR MISSION     TO SERVE LIKE CHRIST

Slim Nance, Chair of Cong. Care

The Congregational Care Committee is responsible for a number of ministries for our members.  Some of these occur on a routine basis to the same folks.  But many of the activities we perform rely on input from you.  If you know of particular concerns which need to be addressed by our committee, it is essential that you let us know.  The organization is in place for the committee to minister to those members who can benefit from our volunteers, but we need to be informed of those needs as soon as possible.  Below are the sub-committees, and what they do.  Now, and in the future, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to do the Lord’s work here at Salisbury.
